I agree, if they were going to make Jin a ladies man in the movie, they should’ve included Xiaoyu who is in love with him in the video games instead of Christie or whoever the whore they put in the movie to make out with him
They may have nothing to do with Jin but Paul and King are original characters from the video game. Instead of putting characters like Raven and Steve Fox, who are recent characters, they should’ve put Paul and King since they have been in the Tekken video games since the first one!
I agree. I didn’t like Silent Hill but the movie was very close to the story of the video game. Compared to the horrible work done on BloodRayne, Silent Hill was almost identical to the video game
This the official trailer, I have been following since I saw the info about the movie in the IMDB website. Before the trailer i heard that the movie is going to be released straight to DVD and after watching the trailer I can see why
I have to disagree, Mortal Kombat wasn’t a great movie but it was good, Mortal Kombat 2 though was terrible and the series the made on TNT a couple of years ago was horrible but the first Mortal Kombat was good
The guy is Asian. In my opinion they guy who plays Jin doesn’t look strong enough as the Jin we all know from the games. He looks like a wuss from the Twilight Saga
hahaha…..is the name jon foo…don’t sound asian…..he maybe half irsh-chinese but he’s look’s is more toward his caucasin side….so he doen’t fit to play the role of Jin Kazama.
After watching the trailer, and I have to say this movie is going to FAIL…I was almost cringing throughout the entire 2 mins.
Like all video game-to-movies this will suck. DOA, the Street Fighters,Mortal Kombat, etc. have all sucked. They’ll continue to suck because they do not translate to feature film – At least not a live action feature film.
I thought it was being subtly referenced in this… as that rage that’s incinerating his soul… and that his dad and grandad are psychopaths. It’s the devil gene made real. Plus wings would look cheesy on a tight budget. They can put it in the sequel
Perhaps if they have a sequel they can kill off Steve, Raven and Christie by hands of Ogre, so Jin trains to be stronger under Heihachi to get revenge? That would follow the basic premise of T3 storyline with the exception that it was Jun that was killed by Ogre not Christie and others(in Jin’s group). That would make room for Xiaoyu, Hwoarang and other characters – and make Jin to be more secluded character like in the games.
